Medical Equipment Loan Cupboard

All requests for loan equipment must be accompanied by a completed waiver form prior to any equipment being issued from the loan cupboard. You can view what equipment is available by scrolling down this page.

The waiver form can be downloaded from the MIHCA website or picked up at the Health Centre. Waiver forms will be in the brochure rack in the waiting room.

How to borrow medical equipment from the loan cupboard:

1. Call the Mayne Island Health Centre at (250) 539-2312. The Health Centre is open Tuesday - Friday, 9:30am-4:00pm, with a closure for lunch between noon-1:30pm.

2. Let them know what piece of equipment you need so they can confirm it is available (scroll down to view photos of available equipment)

3. Bring your signed waiver with you, or fill out the waiver while you are at the Health Centre picking up the equipment.

How to return borrowed medical equipment:

When you no longer need the equipment, please return the equipment in the same condition you received it to the Health Centre as per the hours above.
